A very good-looking kit from Katusha-Alpecin - and seems like Alpecin made a damn good deal for themselves here. Their brand covers the whole jersey, while they only pay for a secondary sponsor spot.

Aqua blue - I like it a lot even though it's dark. Very sophisticated.

Katusha - where do I start. So incredibly ugly. I thought the kit with two different shades of red last year was bad, this is on a whole other level. Mistake #1 - 2 different shades of red that don't match
Mistake #2 - kit color is the same as the logo of the sponsor
    Those two mistakes together  :barf

Sophisticated is right. I like it, but it does look more like something Rapha would make for a Richmond Park weekend warrior to wear. I'm not convinced I know what the branding is meant to be.

In contrast to Flo, I like Katusha - I preferred last year, though, when the colour blocks worked around the (not actually a) K. I get your point, Flo, about having the same shade of red as the sponsor... they could have demarcated it a little better, or found a black and white, or red on white version of the logo.

Still, easily distinguishable, which is good.

I like the Aqua Blue too, reminds me a little of the gorgeous dark blue IAM kit. Not sure how well that gold will actually stand out, as opposed to say deep red and white of IAM

Have to say I like the Katusha kit.  I liked last 2016's with the 'not a K' better and  I hadn't thought too much about the exact shade of Alpecin red. Even so, I don't think it too hideous. Apart from name change, it's another of those 'same is the new black'.

My new kit for 2017. Advertising local business and the podcast...

    Quote
Our 2017 kit in association with local kit supplier likeapro has today been revealed.

The kits checker board design is a nod to the 1980′s Peugeot team, which featured a number of UK and Irish riders.

The colours remain the same with the grey colour to reflect the big skies we see in Fenland. The gold and green reflect the colours of the flag of Huntingdonshire.

Our 2017 jersey features new partners “The Fenland Trust” and “Little Incredibles” who will be part of Fendrien throughout the year.
