#wm3 WM3 Pro Cycling have found a sponsor:
http://www.wm3procycling.com/5/news/197/New-name-for-team:-WaowDeals-Pro-Cycling.html
They'll race as WaowDeals Pro Cycling from 2018.

The question what this means for #lares Lares-Waowdeals, the team they effectively poached the sponsor from, remains unanswered for now.

EDIT: Aforementioned question has now been answered: :cool

Former GB national champion and GB cyclist Sharon Laws, has died, aged just 43.
She only retired last year and announced that she had cervical cancer a few weeks later, in October.

This statement on Voxwomen[1] has apparently been coordinated with her family:

    Quote
After a 14 month battle with cervical cancer, 43-year-old Sharon Laws passed away peacefully this morning, with her close family at her side.

At the age of 33, Sharon turned professional after discovering her love for cycling. A stellar career saw her ride the 2008 Olympic Games representing Great Britain, secure British National titles on the road, time trial and mountain bike, a Queen of the Mountains jersey win at the Women’s Tour, as well as a World Championship bronze medal in the team time trial. Alongside numerous successes on the road, she won mountain bike events such as the Cape Epic, a tough race in South Africa on several occasions. In recent times Sharon had begun to commentate on television where her knowledge and passion gave fans perspective on the National Championships, The Women’s Tour and La Course.

Sharon touched the hearts of many and was a dearly loved daughter, dedicated and hard-working teammate to many and a valued part of the cycling community. Best known for her infectious laugh, Sharon leaves behind a legacy of passion for cycling and enthusiasm for sport and will forever be remembered for her enthusiasm, positivity and genuine love of life.
