  • Of course, if this turns out someday to be the industry standard integrated handlebar-computer-braking solution then I'll eat my kevlar-reinforced aerodynamic hat.

Don't change a winning team, they say. Oh, wait ...

Every other country (except *us) has the venue changing from year to year. As it should be.

If you have made that comment in 2015 or before (and probably in 2018 and after) you would have been right, but the venues have been changing recently. However not so much for the sake of giving other places a chance. I think it went to WS because they built the National Cycling Centre there. Why it has now left? Dunno, but it seemed a bit silly having the Nats and the Classic being raced in such close proximity.

    2015: Chattanooga
    2016: Winston-Salem
    2017: Knoxville

Ah, I wasn't aware of that. :cool

I remember when it was in Philly as an 'open' race, that was kind of cool. But not allowed under UCI rules anymore. :(
    As a result, there's no Philly Classic now ... :( :(

Last week had the *dk U23 champs, ITT & RR:

    Expected win for Asgreen.

Carbel takes it in a sprint. Finally he won something again - and then it's even #champdk! :win

And today saw the *de U23 RR champs (ITT is done as part of the elite champs in June):

Hilly-ish course, a group of 15 sprinted for it, with #dsu Max Kanter taking the #champde title.
Short version of the #0711 report: Moritz Fußnegger bridged to the front group on the climb in the penultimate lap, ran out of steam in the uphill sprint. 9th place is decent. If you want the long version (in German), here it is.
