Test is a word used for the highest level of competition. Used in other sports apart from rugby as well. Some important track races in Australia a long, long time ago were called Tests (1900s), topped off by the Sydney Thousand.

    But that's just it - 2.1 is not the highest level of competition!

    Make some accommodations. He's a New Zealander. They follow a sport where tests between Serbia and Macedonia is equivalent to NZ vs Australia for records...
