Is Sam Oomen an anonymous fan of this game and the coveted 27th place?

27th twice (and just missed it today, 26th) in Dauphne
27th in one stage of Vuelta al Pais Vasco
27th in a stage (and 28th the next day) at Andalucia

    and other near misses:
23rd in last stage of Paris Nice
26th, 28th (and a relatively poor attempt in 24th) in California

Are there other specialists at icosiheptism?
    :D
Monfort, Trofimov back in the day
And I remember Scarponi (RIP) scoring two or three 27ths on mountain stages in some GT. But I can't seem to find it now.

    Update 8: Dauphiné and Suisse

So sorry I didn't post this update sooner, I've been really busy. 9 week break now though so no more excuses :D

At the Dauphiné, Josedin was head and shoulders above the rest, winning by 11 points.  :o Interestingly enough we scored very bad collectively, it was clearly a tough race to predict.
However we made up for that at the Tour de Suisse, and the competition was also much more interesting because 3 of us were within 2 points of each other :cool I was first with 57 points, Josedin 2nd with 56 and Armchair 55. However, with such small differences an error can be crucial so check your predictions in the spreadsheet or stay silent :o

Overall, it could barely be closer. Josedin leads with 2 points over Armchair and 6 over Archie, just incredible after so many races and points scored! I think last year the difference was over 30 points at this point so this sets up the competition nicely :cool

Arghhh this shouldn't be so hard, I mean I don't even like the Tour that much. I don't think Froome has it, but it can't be Porte because something is bound to happen... But if not Porte then who??? Can it be Bardet? I'd love that, but it doesn't stack up either.  :o :o :o I'm running out of time.

Only one thing to do at a time like this...  I've gone FANTASY PEAK ROGUE PODIUM...a terrific coup will happen at some point and the Spanish will run away with it, and obviously take Astana duo of awesomeness with them. Birdsong just pipping Aru by dint of having better dimples and hairstyle  :D :D :D...

It's my fantasy, though I feel sort of bad for Bardet but he can win stages and be generally brilliant. Not for the Polka dots though, those are Thibaut's ... And that is how the TDF goes in my head
