Echoes Pictures from Namur
« on: February 06, 2017, 21:27 »
Well I'm sorry so many of my picture were missed :fp, in particular Mathieu in action  :(. He's too fast.  :o But it was a great moment. I enjoyed it. There were many Francophones there, even some Frenchies. Also sadly, Raymond Poulidor did not chose to come this season while he often chose for Namur in the past to cheer for his two grand children. I still have an autobiography of his that I wanted him to sign (though I'm actually too shy to ask normally, I mean he's Raymond Poulidor, not anybody!).

(I don't know what the problem is with Hostingpics but I could not upload my last picture and was very p*ssed. So I got some via Zupimage.)

Who is the rider in the Circus suit in the middle? (red bike, blue shoes)

I can't guarantee but I'd say Diether Sweeck, Laurens' twin brother.

Happy New Year to Velorooms posters & lurkers. These are my pictures from the 2017 edition surprisingly won by Wout Van Aert with a huge margin and Evie Richards. I was quite because the finish was on the other side of the Esplanade than previous years. Several minor changes and then they put the podium in the midst of the Esplanade in the heart of a mud bath. Fortunately I didn't have my nicest shoes.  :lol So I couldn't see what happened during the women's podium ceremony.
