There were a couple of moves, but the first ones didn't get anywhere. Eventually, *er Elyas Afewerki & *et Temesgen Buru were let go, and I like to think that they had plenty of time to find common ground and will go home and tell everyone they know that the other side in the *er - *et rivalry is just normal people incensed by their government, and that both peoples could get on fine if they were just allowed to.

Anyway, the stage ended in a sprint of sorts, with #delko Mikel Aristi quickest to the line.

The *ga team didn't take the start today:
They're boycotting the race in protest against the lack of support from their national federation. Apparently they've done it once before, though I don't remember that.
Normally, there should be no way they would be allowed to start tomorrow ... but what's normal in Africa?
