« on: April 04, 2017, 10:00 »

The organizers of the Circuit cycliste Sarthe - Pays de la Loire, including the Department, presented the 65th edition of the race, in front of a dormitory of monks filled with the abbey of Epau. This new sporting challenge, which will take place from 4 to 7 April, promises to be full of promises.

Véronique Rivron, President of the Attractiveness Commission of the Sarthe Department, welcomed "to host this beautiful cycling festival in Sarthe again this year" and has not failed to welcome the work of the volunteers, alongside Gérald Feuvrier, President of the organizing association MSCO, Christian Cheron, sports journalist of the Maine Libre co-organizer, Daniel Coudreuse, regional councilor and partners of the event.

THE FIVE LOIRE DEPARTMENTS TRAVELED

The first stage will take place in Vendée on Tuesday 4 April, a loop with departure and arrival in the town of Pouzauges. The peloton will then take the direction of Ligné in Loire-Atlantique for the half-stage that will take Angers, where the individual time trial will be held on the afternoon of April 5th. Thursday, April 6, the third stage will lead the runners from Angers to Pré-en-Pail, with the now traditional arrival at the summit of Mount des Avaloirs. Finally, the last stage entirely Sarthe will leave the abbey of Epau to reach Saint-Calais. In short, this route promises "to hurt the legs" commented Gérald Feuvrier. The Sarthe racers Tony Hurel and Benoit Jarrier, meanwhile, were satisfied with this journey which promises "a great race,

Top two signs your team is super mediocre and will be happy with top tens in Circuit de la Sarthe sprint stages:

    1. signing some KREDER
    2. numerous Australians straight out of Asian races
