Good luck to anyone riding that.
That's a tough one. :o
A result here will be a good indication of who could become the next big climbing prospect.

So in addition we can add Holowesko, Hagens Berman, Rally, UHC, Jelly Belly, Elevate, Aevolo, and 3O3 Project. The latter two making their debuts.

No sign of Novo Nordisk in a major NA race again and as Caja Rural are no longer riding Fuji bikes, they too won't be making the journey over the Atlantic.

There's no way they're going to get a win this year if they're hardly racing! :S

(well, there's next to no way they'd get a win if they'd be racing every day, but that's another point :P)

I had a light bulb moment earlier. They're not racing Utah because Denmark has moved to the start of August. They don't quite overlap, but they may as well from the view point of competing in both if you aren't running two racing squads.

What exactly is the purpose of "The London Stage"?

Other than having a glorified crit in The Capital Of The EmpireTM which the women can race in the morning, and to yet again produce the same old images of cycling pelotons in front of London landmarks, of course.

In my opinion, the race would be far better off if, instead of subjecting riders & staff to a 200-km transfer ahead of the last stage, they held the final in ... Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Lincoln, Sheffield, or any other of the sizable cities within a short distance of Mansfield.

And have London host the final in future years when the race visits the southeast anyway (Brighton! Canterbury!).
Everything is so much centred on The Capital as it is (and let's not forget that WT one-day race in August), no need to make it even more so.

Dunno but I would guess that London pays to host that stage and that some of those funds bankroll the rest of the race.

Zikloland are confusing their outsourced-but-Italian Conti teams here.
    #trevigiani is 'Bulgarian' - #amore is 'Albanian'! ;)

On another note, it's kind of sad to see how far the Volta a Portugal has sunk. I remember the days when there were several ProTour teams on the startlist.

It felt a bit early to start a 2025 race news thread ... ;)
The UCI invites Africa to host the 2025 UCI Road World Championships
    :cool

*rw Kigali with the already-(in)famous Kigali Wall has to be a prime contender.
Let's see who else wants to throw their hat in the ring. :)
