On paper it looks fairly innocuous. But Charly Mottet tells us the last climb is a trap:
The col de Peyra Taillade is the main talking point of today's stage. It's unprecedented on the route of the Tour de France but it was part of stage 2 of the 1997 Critérium du Dauphiné. The race director at the time, former champion Charly Mottet, talked to to remember how it was twenty years ago when Viatcheslav Ekimov, riding for the first version of the US Postal team, won at Le Puy-en-Velay and took the yellow-blue jersey: “It's a trap”, Mottet summed it up. “The climb starts with a narrow bridge. I remember that Chris Boardman [who was in the yellow-blue jersey after winning the prologue in Grenoble] got caught by surprise. Later on in the climb, gradients are sometimes very steep. At this point of the Tour, the riders are getting tired. If there's a split like yesterday and if Fabio Aru has the same legs as yesterday, he'll lose two minutes at the finish.”

That's from the TdF official site. Borrowed, since I'm doing this "preview" in the middle of the stage! BTW, this is in the Massif Central.
