Congratulations to Russell! He's had a bit of a late season slump, but when it mattered he conjured up a winning team.

Despite the GC being decided by a TT, it was sprinters you wanted in your team and not time trialists. Kristoff, EBH, Ewan and Gaviria (Russell had all four) all scored more than race winner Boom.

Rather appropriately the ToB GC top-4 mirrors the Velorooms overall GC.

Now I did tweet Mr. Velogames to ask if there were going to be any more games this year (Guangxi?), but no reply so far. So Russell can't be declared the winner just yet and I won't jinx him by saying congratulations......

    .......or maybe I should. :P

I'll put up the full league table and a list of the all the various league winners once we know the competition is officially over.

Not quite sure if the velogames season is finished or if we might still get something like the Worlds RR, like last year. If not, then I'll just take the opportunity to congratulate Russell. Well done!  ;)
Really good sprints from me and Leadbelly right at the end of the season too. That got really close! If Russell hadn't had a good 20p cushion before we started sprinting, one of us could've taken it.  :P Personally I also a little disappointed to not have gotten 2nd with the last couple of results, but I guess ToB just wasn't good enough.

Speaking of ToB, I think my picks did pretty well and I couldn't really achieve much more with this team. The problem was my expectations of the race and the parcours. I expected the ITT, stage 7 and maybe even stage 2 to fall to riders involved in the GC battle. That didn't happen though and instead pretty much everything went to the sprinters. In that scenario I just had one or two GC-riders too many, and one or two sprinters too few. Mainly I just missed EBH:D

    I'll be back...in 2018.  :angry ;)
