It's not that long a climb, so conceivably he could limit his losses, especially if there was a headwind on the climb and Muhlberger was anchoring attacks, but I'm inclined to think he won't be able to. He just about hung on today to the first group that went over the top. Add on a few more % to the gradient and he may go pop at some point.

Yeah, I pretty much agree with this. Bennett is very light for a sprinter and he has on occasion shown good ability on hills, but his Tour of Britain queen stage win was when he was a kid and I haven't seen him climb well enough to limit his losses on a course like tomorrow's in a long time. Plus Ulissi, Pantano etc will be aware that he'll probably pick up more bonus seconds on at least one later stage so will presumably make sure they kill him off early on the climb.
