Velogames - Giro d'Italia 2018
« on: April 29, 2018, 18:16 »
https://www.velogames.com/giro-ditalia/2018/

League Name:   Velorooms
League Code: 58432719

If you have been part of any of the major races so far this year then there is no need to enter the code again, you will automatically join the league. The code is only for new entrants.

If you are interested in winning the season long league please keep your manager name the same throughout the year and ideally have it the same as your VR name or Twitter handle. If you change it, you run the risk of not getting the correct amount of points. Also please limit yourself to one entry or you risk disqualification from that event.

  • Of course, if this turns out someday to be the industry standard integrated handlebar-computer-braking solution then I'll eat my kevlar-reinforced aerodynamic hat.

I had a major headache coming up with some sort of balance for my CQ team.
I'm having exactly the same problem here.
To sprint, or not to sprint and whether to chance Dennis again, after last year's debacle.

Your punt on Dennis seems to be paying off.

Congratulations to Ivan who took a pretty comfortable victory over Dom.

The riders you wanted to pick from each category were:

All Rounder: Dumoulin and Froome (Pinot and Dennis provided okay cheaper options, but it was a nasty category)
Climber: Yates and Pozzovivo (Lopez wasn't too far beind and the Bora duo were good bargains)
Sprinter: Bennett (just edging out Viviani on points and cost)
Unclassified: Carapaz, Bilbao and Battaglin (a few others were close)

Yates and Carapaz especially were essential picks in the quest for victory.

    Dauphine up next.
