There are a couple of german big names that most likely will feature in the starting list but not dominate the race. This includes #katusha Marcel Kittel and #lotto Andre Greipel. The ASO preview doesn't focus on it, but I would see this race as a #katusha without Alexander Kristoff vs #uae Alexander Kristoff without #katusha. In other words, can #katusha Rick Zabel get the race (that he more or less gave away, last year) back from his old boss?
The #uae UAE rooster doesn't have any good climbers, but #katusha is full of it (well, and Kitte too..l) . They may be able to isolate Kristoff on the early climbs.  I think bot Katusha and UAE wants victories now, so there will be serious racing.  AG2R and Dimension data wants to win too, and #didata Edvald Boasson Hagen usually climbs better than Kristoff.

I think it can become an excellent race, but the starting list is a bit disappointing: debatable if this is WT-status-worthy.
