No fade ... hang on, the *uae flag fades out towards the sides!

The red chestband appears to be consciously not-straight, for whatever reason.
No photos of the back yet.

The blues need to be the same shade. I guess they could be the 2018 shorts, but that wouldn't be very professional.

Has to be a sneak peek, with the grey matter photoshopped over the parts of the kit we're not supposed to see yet.

Same as last year? Slight difference in that the white doesn't extend across the top of the shoulder to the neckline and the arms have those thin lines that Trek had the other year.

No doubt we'll get a full picture later.

    Pretty much.

I note that this kit isn't produced by Nalini, but by Jinga (an Israeli cycling kit manufacturer who already made the replica kits they sold in their team shop).

The red brings nothing to the jersey. Should have just gone purple and white (and symmetric).

The shorts better not be red as well.

My favorite together with Caja Rural. But it'd be cool if they had several different 'tie-dye' patterns.

It's still bewildering to me that year after year, team after team, design after design, the emphasis still seems to be on how the kits look when viewed head-on while standing. Since that represents only about 1% of the exposure they might receive, why is there so little focus on how the kits will look, and be recognized, from the side, the back, and from above, while in the riding position?
    :slow

There should be more focus on how the helmets stand out, too. Standing frontal shots of team kits are a bit like tattoos on the inside of lips. You're only going to see them under rarified conditions.

    Reality is more like this

    and this

Although, admittedly,  in the very best of times, team kits and color patterns matter not.  ;)

When I first saw the EF kit just as a picture of the jersey I thought it looked pretty terrible but now I've seen it on the riders while riding I've been won over by it and think it looks pretty good. As Drummer Boy says we probably need to see them in the context that we will see them most of the time to make a final judgement on any kit.

Yeah, I didn't mind it at all, on or off the bike. Blocky jerseys have become the worrying norm for the last two or three seasons and that's OK on a handful of teams but it's a dreadful trend when the majority sign up to it.

The word "disruptive" is terribly vogueish these days but I think pro kits generally could use a bit of disruption. For years now, we have seen the consumer market turning out some really cool design and the pros, who should be torchbearers for all things cutting edge, have continued (with a few rare exceptions) to get stuck with sincerely dull and/or ugly sh*t. European manufacturers in particular have been far too conservative for far too long.

Good point. I understand the front is important for the sponsors when their rider wins and is on the podium. But the back should be created with seeing the riders from above in mind.
