The
OFFICIAL PREDICTION GAME is back

Copy paste from last year's thread:
The Rules

1. Please get your predictions in
before the stage/race starts as they may not be accepted. I will accept predictions after the start at my discretion.
2. For a one day race, you predict places 1 to 5 and 27th place. For stage races, you predict places 1 to 5 and 27th for
GC and all stages. Your prediction for GC needs to be in before the first stage starts.
Points scoring:
For each rider you predicted in top 5, in the correct place, you score 5 points.
For each rider you predicted in top 5, in the wrong place, you score 1 point.
For 27th correct, you score 15 points.
So:
Giro d'Italia GC
I predict
Contador
Aru
Uran
Pozzovivo
Chaves
Wiggins
The final result is:
Contador
Aru
Pozzovivo
Chaves
Uran
Wiggins
I got 1st and 2nd place correct --> 2x 5 points = 10
I got 3rd to 5th in top 5, but in the wrong place --> 3x 1 point = 3 points
I got 27th correct --> 15 points
so for Giro GC I score 28 points
Special rule for team time trials: we predict top-5 and last place, however for last place you can only get 5 points if you've predicted this correctly instead of 15 like for 27th correct.
PLEASE ENTER YOUR PREDICTIONS IN THE FORMAT I USED IN THE EXAMPLE ABOVESo: no nicknames, just the last name of a rider (in the event of 2 riders with the same last name in the same race, put the riders initial after their name --> Martin D or Martin T), no numbers in front of the names, no smileys (kits, flags or otherwise) and please check for typos.
In that format I can simply copy paste the predictions into the spreadsheat. Otherwise, I'll have to enter the predictions manually.
Typos: They happen, please check for them, if you miss them no problem, I won't kick your ass, and I will try to remove most typos when updating the spreadsheet, but just like you I can miss typos, which means you might miss points.
Calendar:
If you have to miss a certain race, you can predict the race beforehand, so you'll still get some points
The Prizes

We have a nice trophy for the overall winner (i.e. a miniature of the late KeithJamesMC's avatar as he was the original organizer of this game)
A cobble for the person with the highest cumulative score in the spring classics ( Milano-Sanremo, Gent-Wevelgem In Flanders Fields, Ronde van Vlaanderen / Tour des Flandres, Paris - Roubaix, Amstel Gold Race, La Flèche Wallonne, Liège - Bastogne - Liège)

pink jersey for the person with the highest score at the Giro d'Italia

yellow jersey for the person with the highest score at the Tour de France

red jersey for the person with the highest score at the Vuelta a España

rainbow jersey for the person with the highest score at the Worlds
An autumn leaf for the person with the highest cumulative score in the autumn classics (San Sebastian, Cyclassics, Ouest-France, GP Québec, GP Montréal, Lombardia, London race)
So even if you're out of the running for the overall title you can still win other awards

NB:
- In the unlikely event of a tie, we will have two winners.
- I will try to do an update after each race, unless I am unable to do so (vacation or busy) or if two races run at the same time. For example I won't post an update after Paris-Nice, I will post an update for Paris-Nice and Tirreno-Adriatico after Tirreno-Adriatico.
