The first team ranking of the 2019 season is out. And it's an important one since it determines which 15 teams will be auto-invited to all WWT races.

(sorry for the below-average formatting, it's copy-pasted off the UCI site - please do get that sorted, Aiglons!)

Comparing the top-15 to last years', there are several changes:
Trek-Segafredo goes into fourth place immediately as a new team. Previously-existing teams that have moved up are Movistar (who were 'only' ranked 25th on the basis of the 2018 roster, but had an excellent season), WNT Rotor (on the basis of their new signings), Tibco-SVB (mostly due to signing Guarnier ... we'll see how much she'll actually race), and Parkhotel Valkenburg (partly due to Wiebes, but with their new signings putting them over the bar).
Alé Cipollini and Bigla both plummet after losing star riders like Bastianelli, Santesteban, Moolman-Pasio, and Lepistö, but manage to just stay in the top-15. Other teams were not as lucky - Wiggle High5 and Cylance folded completely, while BTC City Ljubljana, Hitec Products, and Astana will have to rely on invitations this year.
