Today's feel-good story from Johan Bruyneel:

Apparently there was a very charming and touching press conference in Spain with Stage 5 winner Ángel Madrazo #burgos.

Johan said that Madrazo is every bit the humble, down-to-earth family-man that he is made out to be. It was a presser filled with deep life-lessons, and humorous stories, including one about his wife, who doesn't like sports, and is opposed to allowing Angel to purchase his much-desired PS4 Playstation.
 :P

Madrazo then pointed out that his 4.5-year-old son will soon be old enough to be his ally in this pursuit.  :D

So enamored was the the press corps with the man being interviewed, that they then offered to take up a collection in order to buy him his own PS4.
 :cool

But the ultimate testament to just how well received he was, and the impact his reflections and thoughtful insights had on the gathering of journalists, was that at the conclusion of his time in front of the microphones, the press corps actually gave Madrazo a standing ovation. A rarity, indeed.
