    Taco is also leaving.

Renewals for Roosen and Eenkhoorn amongst others.

Further baseless speculations allowed in this thread? or was that another one   :angel

#jumbo #champno Jansen Valverde aka Amund Grøndal Jansen is going somewhere he gets a better contract than at #jumbo. That is, probably not to #sunweb. With Politt leaving #israel for #bora, I wouldn't be surprised if:

#jumbo #champno Jansen Valverde aka Amund Grøndal Jansen --> #israel

Other takers would be squads with ambitions for the belgian classics or a strong sprint train set-up, #bahrain or #uae could be a possibility. However, his skillset overlaps with norwegians Bystrøm and Laengen at #uae so unlikely he is going that way unless Gaviria wants him for his sprint-train, as #uae is one of the few teams that could actually field 2 strong sprinters simultaneously. Jansens work with the #jumbo bee-train in the past two years has been very succesful, with lots of victories for Groenewegen. Rivals will have noticed.

Not a great (potential) transfer imo. He burst onto the scene in his debut year with some really good and consistent performances, but since then he's been hit and miss and from my metaphorical armchair I do wonder if he is lacking a bit in the determination department to push onto the next level.

He's French though and with Latour and Bardet both leaving maybe the pressure was on to get a recognisable name.

I wondered whether to start a new strand called "Froome - Is it all over bar the shouting"

I am not sure whether it is or not - but if I was ISUN I'd be rooting around for the receipt - or in contract terms cooling off period escape clause...

Please remind me of this post when he lifts multiple grand tours and a rainbow jerseys in the years ahead...

Bevin looks like a good signing to me. Don't know much about Berwick. They probably signed him after getting their ass kicked by him in the Herald Sun Tour this year ;)

Will GVA persist with the whole 'golden' shtick for a 5th season at  #ag2r?

Sleeve cuffs are a nice idea but bike and helmet ...still?

Except it is smart so easy for the team to find him. Evans did the same in TTT .

I wonder why more teams don't do the same with team leaders

Their team leaders didn't win Olympic gold. ;)

There's probably definitely a rule against individual riders having differing colours on their kit if it isn't to notify former national/Continental/world championship or Olympic Games wins.

Ok that is an interesting thought; so he could simply have a different colour bike (and helmet?) - but it presently just feels like he is saying "Did I ever tell you about Rio..." every time he rides!

NB At least colours work well together far better than the Bianchi celeste clash at  #jumbo; roll on their Cervelo deal next year.

    from today's Het Nieuwsblad

    (tbc) #total Rein Taaramäe --> #circus Circus–Wanty Gobert

basically as a direct replacement for Fabien Doubey, who switched teams the other way around.

    +

(tbc) #seg Jordi Meeus --> #vlaanderen Sport Vlaanderen - Baloise

he looked strong in the Czech Tour. Would be good for Topsport to finally get a talented rider again - the new policies of the WT teams (signing younger riders) really have made it tough for them.

Didn't he have an offer from them last year and turned it down? You'd think after those sprints in the Czech Tour that somebody bigger would be after him. Why not Bahrain or Mitchelton who saw him first hand in those races.
