it's a fairly tough stage though, actually the one with the 4th most climbing in this Tour (based on altitude changes in m). I wouldn't reduce it too much on the final climb only - lots of riders will be very tired by then, and there may be not much explosivity left in the legs of someone like Woods or Dan Martin.

The way I understood it, the gravel part is very solid, and smooth to ride by the way - and the final metres are paved even. So I guess it will not have too much of an influence.
