League Name:   Velorooms
League Code: 58432719

If you have been part of any of the races so far this year then there is no need to enter the code again, you will automatically join the league. The code is only for new entrants, but if in doubt use the code.

If you are interested in winning the season long league please keep your manager name the same throughout the year and ideally have it the same as your VR name or Twitter handle. If you change it, you run the risk of not getting the correct amount of points. Also please limit yourself to one entry or you risk disqualification from that event.

It's a classic classic league with a bumper thirty six transfers to waste or use wisely.

San Sebastian is the first race.

Low scoring was the order of the day with lots of misfiring popular picks. Only six of us had the foresight/luck to go with Remco (Joao in fifth was the highest team without him).

Ride London is next on the menu.

There are two options. Either Russell forgot to enter a team for San Sebastian or he played a stroke of tactical genius and only entered afterwards so as to avoid using up transfers.

    Zammo still leads.

Bit of a break now till Hamburg comes round and then the races will be more frequent.

Back to low scoring. Jalabartoli, Davy Pev and Zammo the only ones to select the winner.

Russell with a handy lead now.

There is no justice in the cycling world and therefore none in Velogames!

Davy closes the gap on Russell a little. Other big beasts are lurking just a bit back.

Back to category 3 racing this weekend and then the big one the weekend after.

Slim pickings again. A few of us had the Trentin-Sagan combo with Anne adding GVA to that to give her the edge.

Davy drops off the podium and with zero transfers left, he won't be able to fight his way back. Also of interest further down was Raffaele not making any transfers and dropping out of the top-ten.

A whole load of cat.3 races up next starting with the Sparkassen Münsterland Giro on Thursday.

Anne with a buffer of just over 200 points which is what you get for winning a category one race. I think both had a handful of transfers left heading into this final round, so Anne couldn't just copy Russell's team and play it safe.

The final teams are visible now. Who wants who to do well (and not so well)?

Anne - Nibali, Cavagna (in the break) and Brambilla, but not Fuglsang

Russell - Buchmann, Sosa and Latour, but not Majka

MellowVelo - Yates, but not Mollema or Gaudu

There are some not so unlikely outcomes which could see either of the three win.

Both Anne and Russell have absolutely smashed it in Lombardy.
The benefit of those last race transfers put to terrific use.
Reckon Russell might be top scorer overall for this one.
