8 September: Gylne Gutuer, 173.5 km

Saving the best for last, the weekend ends with the Gylne Gutuer, held around Stange in "Norway's Tuscany" - rolling terrain with lots of gravel roads.
. "Gylne Gutuer" means "golden roads" in Norwegian, and if there's sunshine, the 60.4 km (!) of gravel roads (on 12 separate sectors, all of which are done several times for a total of 34 sectors) will look glorious. If it's raining, however, it could become more of a mudbath.

There are a couple of climbs with about 100 metres of altitude gain each, but most of all the race will be a test of bikehandling and stamina. Only the best rouleurs can contend for the victory.
