Young Ardila, after nearly 9 months off, managed to stay with the lead group until the last 2km. Got a feeling this boy is going to be good.

Lots and lots of fans were out to see the last stage. More than a million if some reports are to be believed. The percentage of good fans to idiot fans is probably no different to anywhere else in the world, but if you multiply the very small percentage by 1000000+ you unfortunately still end up with a big number of fools running very close to the riders, sticking mobiles in their faces and nearly causing accidents.

I think the final results should show #unox Torstein Træen in 9th overall. That is best foreigner, and quite a good result from a team of 100% neo-pros! There are a few notable celebrities further down the list.
Technically, Caicedo is the best foreigner ... :P
... but as Ecuadorian, he's also Latin American.

Træen is definitely best European, and that isn't something I expected at all. I remember him standing at the finish on Păltiniș in 2015, having raced in support of Øivind Lukkedal (who was defending the youth jersey) and finishing way behind himself.
The Sibiu Tour is a good source of talent - after all, the other Sibiu alumnus who raced in Colombia was one Egan Bernal. :D

This thread would be incomplete without the greatest highlight of the week.
