Some serious signings for #roubaix with Carisey, Siskevicius and Vahtra joining the ranks. Plus a leader to come in January - Boudat?

unexpected - but I like it.

Much needed extra marquee rider for TBE, and a new fresh start for Dylan.  TJV wasnt exactly a good place for him, and with tilts at Yellow and Green at the Tour, he wasnt going to be a priority

..... and from a Jumbo viewpoint, they'll miss out on any negative publicity from the upcoming court case (Jakobsen vs Groenewegen). It probably frees up some salary too for extensions or strengthening the team.

I kinda expected a step down to conti level after an unlucky, injury-marred season, resulting in no new contract offer from #bingoal - but somehow the opposite happened now :o

Would have been rather insane if he had ended up retiring after the end of season he had.

(formerly #cofidis) Attilio Viviani --> #bingoal Bingoal Pauwels Sauces WB

    https://www.wbca.be/attilio-viviani-rejoint-bingoal-pauwels-sauces-wb/

not sure the team really needs another sprinter, but I think Attilio deserves another shot on PT level, and in regards to the mentioned Italian connection, it makes sense to get him on board.

Not really a step down when his current team is shut out of all racing for the foreseeable future. ;)

maybe not really, yeah, but it's a level lower than initially planed.

Someone who would probably be happy to still find sth just one level lower now is #bahrain Alejandro Osorio

    https://twitter.com/BHRVictorious/status/1511693499883737090

on Velonews, Erzen is quoted that “It’s not one thing but from the beginning, he made many wrong things and we can’t accept that. He put riders and staff in difficult situations. Especially about COVID and everything.”

    https://www.velonews.com/news/road/bahrain-victorious-terminate-alejandro-osorios-contract-for-breach-of-covid-19-rules/

He did just one race for the team (DNS in the 2nd), so certainly it's all a bit odd.

Bahrain started the season with 28 riders. Now that's effectively just 26 (minus Colbrelli/Osorio) and that includes Feng and Madan. Mid-season transfer coming up? Piccolo?

he will not be able to do the Giro due to a lack of bio passport, though - which is a bit odd, as Bike Aid is on the list of conti teams fulfilling the "fight against doping" requirements

checking the rules again, this may be just a financial obligation for the conti teams, which doesn't necessarily come with an addition to the bio passport. Not sure about that, though.

Maybe they can pick up a few points, but from what they say it's more about just having enough fit riders.
