Vlasov ----------> #ineos ?
Is their new transfer strategy to just sign anyone who is younger than 30 and can climb?!

    This is unexpected:
    https://twitter.com/TeamDSM/status/1346486664382849024

    Marc Hirschi --> ???

    Quote
    Team DSM has reached a settlement agreement with their rider Marc Hirschi to terminate their present employment before the original end date of 31 December 2021. It has been agreed that the agreement will be terminated with immediate effect and that no further comments will be made.

    What I think happened: Hirschi agreed to sign somewhere for 2022, his current team found out (or was told) and gave him a simple choice: Stay with them for 2021, but not get selected for any races, or buy out his contract (with help from his new team) and transfer right away.

    .....or they had a difference of opinion on what his race calendar would look like. Maybe DSM were gonna send him to the Giro and Pologne instead of the Ardennes and Tour.

    Not sure where he'll end up. He have to weigh up freedom vs money.

    I’ll wager that he was on a very low salary, and UAE offered him 50 times that salary, which would enable Hirschi to buy himself out rather easily.

    a Dutch journalist on Twitter said that Sunweb was offering Hirschi to other teams on from September, so it may also have been the other way around.

    Groß is currently at the #uae training camp, and apparently will join the team after the Olympics.

    Glad to see that WVA re-ups- good for sport that he has not gone to the 'petro-chemical and plastic by-products' club...
