Velogames - Autumn Classics 2020
« on: September 29, 2020, 09:10 »
https://www.velogames.com/classics-squad-game/2020/

League Name: Velorooms
League Code: 23845309

If you have been part of any of the races so far this year then there is no need to enter the code again, you will automatically join the league. The code is only for new entrants.

If you are interested in winning the season long league please keep your manager name the same throughout the year and ideally have it the same as your VR name or Twitter handle. If you change it, you run the risk of not getting the correct amount of points. Also please limit yourself to one entry or you risk disqualification from that event.

Current top-ten:

RankManagerPoints
1Joao Peixoto44
2Leadbelly39
3Anselmo Tadeu37
4Russell32
5Fabio Xuxo31
5Nick Hudak31
7Scott Jenkin28
8sime6627
9Tolga yuksel21
10Joao Pinto20

This is the classic version of the Classics game, so you can't change your team willy-nilly between races. You have twenty transfers you can use over the course of the nine (could be eight if AGR gets canned) races.

Competition starts tomorrow with FW.

  • Of course, if this turns out someday to be the industry standard integrated handlebar-computer-braking solution then I'll eat my kevlar-reinforced aerodynamic hat.

Errrrr no it's not. Well, you can but you won't do very well when the cobbles switch happens.

I saw that as I logged in, thought must be another game was not, but updated the other game and then fixed Disney plus it is all happening in the JSG house

Twelve riders means there were no tied scores (unless you count the three who scored zero points). That's not to say that there are massive gaps as it's all very close at the top.

    ....... and the overall.

Difficult to see Ben losing it from here. Would need the chasers to pick an outsider or three and get very lucky.

...... or for Ben to have an absolute 'mare. Sorry I must have jinxed you.

However it does give us a very interesting finale to the competition. Quite a few people are still in with a shout and that includes Ben who might be 500 points down, but has many more transfers left than anyone else.

Did I ever tell you that the Classics League with limited transfers is the most prestigious Velogames title to win? :D

    The final standings:

Congratulations to me I guess! Special mention to Russell though who came very close in both this version and the Superclasico league. No titles for him, but he's really in the mix now for the overall title. Speaking of which....
