Looks like Evans is ready for Le tour.
Despite the self-serving data benders and associated propaganda to the contrary, I am led to believe that there are pockets of organised, highly sophisticated dopers, even within 'new age' cycling teams. Personally, I don't accept that the 'dark era' has ended, it has just morphed into a new guise.

5 or 6 small climbs. I interpret that as a sprint, maybe reduced though maybe im underestimating the climbs.

Looks like Evans is ready for Le tour.

He seemed a little bit disappointed on twitter  and in his diary about his ride.

"After some time out of racing for some specific Tour preparation, it's time to race again. A 5.7km flat slightly technical leg (and lung) opener to get things started. Not bad but not great for me,"

On twitter:
"Criterium du Dauphine off to an ok start....looks like old diesel here needs some racing. Still a lot of fast guys to come...#dauphine"

Fignon - In my day, doping methods were derisory and the riders´exploits were massive.
For the last 15 years or so  it has been the other way rond: there is a huge number of ways in which riders can dope, and any exploits are derisory.

Just had a look at the small highlights above

Wiggo has the best position on the ITT - while he may have lost a lot of weight the position may not mean here does not lose in time.

He has

When? I can't remember seeing any NRS or results with him in a Plan B shirt. May have done a guest stint with them for a few crits but for actual racing... (not doubting I'd just like to see it with a bit more than just a mention).
