Should be an important stage today for Reinardt, the last two stages seem to be a bit flat for him.

Kern of leopard trek winning stage three from a breakaway and soloing away in the last five kilometres. No change in the general classification, Reinardt still fifth, 11" behind.

Wrong sourcage, Reinardt now tenth in the GC

As mentioned by Ram, disappointing result for Reinardt finishing 2 minutes down and now probably just looking for a stage win in tomorrows TT.
Dennis Van Niekerk did manage 7th on the stage.
Adam Phelan from Drapac was third. but going to be hard for anyone to move past Kern (European U23 champion) on overall now

video preview from the leopard team

interestingly the leader was not one of their leaders for the race. although with 3 in the top 10 they are looking pretty strong going into the time trial

Race report thanks to Leopard trek

Apparently a group of 28 went clear after 50kms with 2 leopard trek riders in the group. when the leaders team did not seem interested in chasing the break Bob Jungels and two others decided to bridge from the bunch to the break.

a group of 5 went clear with 15 to go and when two more leopard joined the front they had 3 in the front 7. Kern put in an attack and with Jungels and Pliuschin in the group the others watched for a while and he got the decisive break.

tomorrow is a long and hard TT and apparently Kern is not a great TT'er so the race may still be up for grabs. However given his biggest threat is probably Jungels (although looks like Bochmann can TT ok) the leopard team have to be the favorites for the overall win

Unfortunately, as predicted, Jungle Bob has been taking lessons from the Fabian TT camp not the Andy camp.

Jungels won the 14.8 km TT by 25 seconds from Drapac Adam Phelan. Previous leader Kern could only manage 11th but remains 2nd on overall

For MTN Reinardt managed 6th on the TT and remains 10th overall. Jaco Venter finished 8th, 15th for Dennis Vaniekerk and 20th for Martin Wesemann

Jungle bob would've been in his element in the forest, and he's in Bruyneel's feeder team so his wins don't count.

Jungle bob would've been in his element in the forest, and he's in Bruyneel's feeder team so his wins don't count.

Hopefully Bruyneel has too much crap on his hands with the big boys to bother with Bob.

I like him actually, good talent and looking forward to him making the big time

Mind, I'm pretty fagged now, so a big team winning won't help the mood.

The race was fixed so that the home team could win, Jungle Bob went mental in the Jungle TT. He would've struggled if it were in the savannah.

And to resurrect this again, Reinardt crashed in the final 30km of the last stage and fell well behind, he was brought back by his teammates before his sprint.
