I've actually been listening every couple of weeks, Tan and Tomo definitely good for the soul.

okay, I did not know, according to cn he was in Europe already

"Meyer has not made any official announcements as to his rescheduled program however, the former Tour Down Under champion has already returned to his European base in Andorra. Meyer told SBS he believed would be back to racing in March."

he is in Australia anyway since ~4 weeks or something like that, no idea why though. He was also doing some track racing a couple of days ago.

He's been here the whole time, had surgery on a saddle sore which kept him out of Langkawi and seems delayed even more. He trains well here so it's not a problem in that regard but is lacking serious race days if he's still doing the Giro. I would say he needs Pais Vasco + Ardennes + Romandie at a minimum but even that would leave little time for training in Andorra.

Meyer is doing the Oceania Championships lol... Didn't think that was possible (registered under his Andorra club). May not even make it back for Pais Vasco at this rate.

I guess the pull of becoming Continental Champion is too big. :D
Even if the "continent" only consists of Down Under and Kiwi Country, and most participants have never been heard of outside of that "continent".

No disrespect to any of the participating riders, on the contrary. I'm sure it's a tough race, but nonetheless the fact is that it is lightweight compared to other Continental Championships.
They don't even ride in national team jerseys, to name one thing.

Nice to see them bringing Bolle back to the front of the peloton.

For fans of a certain age they were iconic in the 90s.
