Interesting as first time they have taken a stagiaire. They seem to prefer signing pre contracts with youngsters then sending them elsewhere

I thought Puccio was a stagiaire last year for them.

Thanks for doing the list jsg

Came across Timothy Stevens (BE, stagiaire for Accent Jobs) last week by chance - he was a podium finisher at a race I happened to be reading about. Very consistent young man with four good wins this year, as well as a string of high placings. Looks like being a solid rouleur.

At just 19 years old, Florian Sénéchal (FR, stagiaire for OPQS) is one of the most exciting talents on the Belgian circuit at the moment and he's destined for great things. Having come through the ranks at CC Wasquehal - FDJ's feeder club and once the club of Paul Kimmage - he decided to come to Belgium in order to get noticed.

No surprise there, as Sky desperately need some new Italians as they lost Cioni, Possoni at the end of last year and the company has vested interests in Italy, especially if Appo goes as he is widely expected to do at the end of this year.

Also interesting to note that he seems to be cobbles rider which would emphasise Sky's focus on their young cobbled team which was disappointing this year but has enormous potential.

What is interesting is hey are getting these youngsters. I think puccio was a real coup for them last year

I think Dennis is more likely to stay with the national team, better prep for the double in September.

Thread for all about stagiaires and who they're riding for come August time. Will clean up and sort the thread later on when I can do it without wiping all the info... :fp

Argos - Warren Barguil, French amateur extraordinaire, climber from what I can gather. Will turn pro next year with them. Also Jonas Ahlstrand, Swedish sprinter currently riding for Team Cykelcity will ride with them this year.

Astana - Fabio Aru, known for his GiroBio exploits will ride with them this year with a contract for next season.

Lampre - Mattia Catteneo Same story as Aru, just with Lampre.

Rabobank - Mark Goos will get a 2nd chance at being a Stagiaire.

Sky - Rohan Dennis?
