Just heard the official song of the race, right dodgy, I tell ya.

Also seems to have expanded to cover 14 districts as opposed to 4 last year.

Could, or should, be a translation issue, google translates the word seven as four sometimes :fp

In fact, 14 isn't a mistranslation

Metro TV seem to be Indonesian tv partners, did I also see Eurosport there? The dodgy official song makes its appearance halfway through that video.

GENESYS WEALTH ADVISERS (Australia)

EDIT: one interesting change on the latest start list. Nic Sanderson is out and Jai Crawford is in. not normally a Genesys rider so a guest appearance i guess. Will add some speed to the sprints and has been looking in good form

New signing now that transfer season has opened up 8)

Defo think Nathan Dahlberg would have brokered this move, Jono was mentioning about Shep wanting to race in Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan kind, and that he wasn't allowed by his team in Italy, not to mention his Plan B background. Defo good for the race I'd think.
Definitely Dahlberg.

Not much of a surprise that.

Any idea as to why Sanderson's not riding? Has he been injured again or is it just to give Jai a run?

Sando is not as fit as Jai.

Sheppard isn't riding either I just found out. He's doing the baby giro.

Probably just listed as an emergency who was never intended to start.

Well that's a bummer, although the baby Giro's not all that bad a race.

The baby Giro's a great race innit? Tonton will still draw me in to this land though, hopefully, and some others.

Fignon - In my day, doping methods were derisory and the riders´exploits were massive.
For the last 15 years or so  it has been the other way rond: there is a huge number of ways in which riders can dope, and any exploits are derisory.

May work on it man, I know that the Shep love is spreading fast, but even I have a semblance of almost lifeishness sometimes.

Seems like there were a few fans supporting today. Breakaway seems to have been reeled in, and now on to the climb and descent to the finish.

Really know nothing about the Plan B lot. Who's the best climber from this group? Maybe the mysterious sage Drew will make a comeback here too.

Not sure how is the best climber, but watch out for Alex Smyth in the sprints. And as already said Shep is in Italy, and he is there will October I think.

Cheers, I've just managed to find Shep's team in Italy, Generali Videa Ballan, and also been informed by Jono that he's riding the Girobio.

If you don't mind my asking, are you involved with plan B racing? You certainly seem to know quite a bit about them.

Again, cheers for the info.

All gone quiet from the updates.

last i heard three riders were out front with 3kms to go

Seems like one of my Favorites Pujol is in the race for Azad and was one of the three. was not on my start list but is on the official one (but then again so is Eric)

Hsiao from Tapei was there too and Pierre the frenchman

Cheers, I do hope he gets a free role for the Girobio. He seems to have had a few top 5s this year, that bodes well.
