We recorded Episode 3 of the Pedal Asia Podcast live at the final stage of the Tour of Japan.  Here is a quick summary :

Episode dedicated to all things Tour of Japan. Wrap up and interviews with Genesis rider John Lovelock and support staff Greg Nunn, James Machin domestic rider and all round fan of Japanese cycling and Abeki Ryoji of Champion Systems - official supplier of race kit for the tour. Loads of info and some real insight into asian pro cycling. It's our best so far so enjoy.

youch.

Isn't it a couple of hours till the prologue now? While not nearly as crazy as that stage, there do seem some dodgy bits for the riders in Kumano too.

That is a brilliant chart, looks like riding through a high rise car park. is there a speed graph to go with it

Going off my power file, each lap we would hit 70+  about 5 times only to be back at ~15kph within 30 seconds. Fast, slow, fast, slow, fast.....

They are mentalists, and they continue to reinforce it. All with a high point of all of 400m

Pretty Crazy sprint in the end there, kept waiting for the line to come. Nippo guy seems to go from way to far out, and plenty of Ferrari style swerving
Not just any Nippo guy, that's Richeze. Anxious for the points maybe? But I think that could've cost him in the final metres.
