Nice.
I can't remember seeing any vids of WF last year.
Will watch later.
Decent race, if a bit over-shadowed by it's bigger relations.

Making plans to attend all three stages. Once across the Channel its only an hour up the road. A new race for me and hopefully better than the dire 3 Day's of De Panne I attended last year.

Stages to Kortrijk and Ichtegem might be really nice if it's windy, good chance for echelons :D bring on the carnage!

SKY - Michael Rogers, Alex Dowsett, Sergio Henao, Jeremy Hunt, Peter Keenaugh, Luke Rowe, Ben Swift and Salvatore Puccio

RaNT - Jesse Sergent, Fuglsang, Ben King, Giacomo Nizzolo, Joost Posthuma, Thomas Rohregger, Robert Wagner and Oliver Zaugg.
Fignon - In my day, doping methods were derisory and the riders´exploits were massive.
For the last 15 years or so  it has been the other way rond: there is a huge number of ways in which riders can dope, and any exploits are derisory.

Tough baptism for Henao. At least Alex Dowsett has done some dragstrip time trialling to prepare him for the cold and the wind.

Ferry booked for tomorrow and Sunday - Can't afford Saturday as well  :( Looking forward to this race, sometimes the smaller, more intimate, races afford far greater accessibility and are more spectator friendly - Blog and photo's to follow on Team sky fans...

Robert Wagner the first of no doubt many quick times from RSNT

Julien Vermote of OPQS has gone fastest and I have never heard of him.

Nice. A likely sprint tomorrow should confirm that.

CQ guys there are Farrar, Boivin and Lietaer, hence my interest.

Kwiatowski held on, Mick Rodgers and Alex Rasmussen came close at the end but couldn't unseat him.

Wonder if Vermote is related to Michel Vermote. EDIT - apparently not. This one is Flemish.

He rode for QS all of last year without catching my attention, he did manage 8th in the Belgian ITT champs so obviously no slouch against the clock.

I'm glad to see Van Keirsbulck up there as he hadn't shown much this year so far. I think he's a really great talent and he could have a breakout season.
All this talk about equality. The only thing people really have in common is that they are all going to die.

Kwiatkowski.

Lets hope he can continue to improve like this.

Might just could become a talent.
Despite the self-serving data benders and associated propaganda to the contrary, I am led to believe that there are pockets of organised, highly sophisticated dopers, even within 'new age' cycling teams. Personally, I don't accept that the 'dark era' has ended, it has just morphed into a new guise.

Wow I wrote his name twice on this page and managed to misspell it in two different ways.

He was impressive last year already in most of the Belgian races. But I'm indeed looking forward to seeing him win or go to the finale of a bigger race :)
