You clearly didnt look at Stage 5 closely enough. Has a high point of 20metres about sea level, and in parts drops down to 10 metres below sea level. 30m, that a fair drop..  ::)

Dekker to destroy the field in the TTT, almost destroying his own Garmin in the process

I understand that they go 10 metres below sea level because it's the only place they can get a drink.

Fignon - In my day, doping methods were derisory and the riders´exploits were massive.
For the last 15 years or so  it has been the other way rond: there is a huge number of ways in which riders can dope, and any exploits are derisory.

I think that Garmin is the only team practicing for the TTT... They will have their first win there...

was Qatar the race with the guy using twitter for the race updates - really bad English but was just so cool - with his phone dropping out all the time - but information all the time including camels being spotted.

Is Tomke riding this? Would like to see how he does in the sprints vs the big guns. Also if Cav really is in the form he claims he is, he'll prolly destroy the field

Same as in Oman if I remember correctly, sometimes you'd get 10 updates in a minute and then lose contact for 15. :D

I want to see Cancellara hammer something.
I think he will want a win soon after last year and to declare his awesomeness.  ;)

Glad Maarten TJallingii is there too, just so I can hear Phil call him 'Jangly'...NOT

Maybe itll be back to the good ol days with Boonen showing form in San Luis.  I think a win in Qatar would be a great sign.

renshaw has a near perfect team for a train here. He has some racing in the legs.
In theory he should be able to produce results here. Let's see how he copes, i predict fail.
