I don't want to see a pile-on crash of those top guys who are on same time...

Posted by: Dim« on: March 23, 2012, 19:57 »Stage 5 - NOTE this has a spoiler of the E3 result in the first ten seconds so if you dont know that result, skip to about 30 seconds to a minute in, or watch that first

Chasing a group like that, both the breakaway and the chasers showed much class. Quality ride, quality riders. Posted by: BYOP« on: March 23, 2012, 16:14 »Uran close to another stage win, was there a crash after the finish line or was the winner just having a rest?
Posted by: Tuart« on: March 23, 2012, 09:21 »Swiss 1-2 in the GC, well I never!
![]() That was an exciting finish too, group of 6 off the front for last 20km never getting more than 20 seconds and only being caught in last 500m. Albasini did a lot of work as well, thought he showed great intelligence when he didn't try to ride himself too far into the red chasing Levi. Great to see Uran win this, hope he really has a resurgence this year. Also, is it just me or is Gesink looking pretty lousy at the moment?

Well probably a good chance it will be. Trying to fathom what the hell is happening is part of the fun I suppose, fans getting trolled by race organisers now. Posted by: Dekker_Tifosi« on: March 22, 2012, 14:34 »Very funny, sir. ;DActually completely wrong. It has nothing at all to do with Kruijswijk who has no chance of winning anyway since both Cherel and especially Carrara were much stronger in the previous mt stages so he would have never taken the GC. I genuinely think it's unfair they annuled the time gaps. And if most directeurs sportif and riders in the race agree... then they must all be Kruijswijk fans right? ![]() Don't give me this shortsighted bullsh*t. Posted by: L'arriviste« on: March 22, 2012, 14:07 »Out of curiosity the car that Julian Dean had an unfortunate meeting with, anyone know who is liable for the damage in a situation like this? It comes down to the negotiations of the various insurers. The race is insured and the rider himself. So, assuming the car was legally parked etc, one or both of the latter parties will pay. ![]() Posted by: just some guy« on: March 22, 2012, 14:07 »Out of curiosity the car that Julian Dean had an unfortunate meeting with, anyone know who is liable for the damage in a situation like this? The race I would assume re Dean his is 36 could be career ending . |
