I've written a guide to using the Garmin virtual partner to get Strava KOM’s,
it takes you through how to:
Grab the segment data from Strava
load it on to your Garmin
how to set up the virtual partner

hope someone finds it useful!

Not heard of Strava? Lots of cyclists use it, it seems to be very popular.
I wrote an article about it here
