Sorry, I should have said "Samu's corner with 400m to go"  ;D

But now that he's not even racing it becomes kind of irrelevant :(

I'll try and have a crack at one.  I'll come back closer to the time and pick a free stage.

I'll take a stage prior to September the 3th. Just hand me a stage that's left and I'll provide some cultural background to it :P

Will be much harder for me to do this preview though, since I've hardly ever been in Spain for extended periods of time. Furthermore, I don't speak a word of Spanish, which makes finding the right information much harder. Will have to rely on google translate skills exclusively.. Should make it an interesting project to spend an hour or two on ;)

Slow stage 4

Fignon - In my day, doping methods were derisory and the riders´exploits were massive.
For the last 15 years or so  it has been the other way rond: there is a huge number of ways in which riders can dope, and any exploits are derisory.

I can do Stage 16, it looks like a beast of a stage.
And any others that get left unclaimed, I can do some of those too.

Not quite. ;) Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen stay in hospital, I will be unable to prepare my stage preview and since it is the last one in the race, the task should go to someone who really wants to do a nice job of it. Sorry about that. Best wishes to whoever takes it on.

Scratch me from the list. Let a real cycling fan ::) Contador fan write the preview.

i can do the final stage since i walked it last year.
Despite the self-serving data benders and associated propaganda to the contrary, I am led to believe that there are pockets of organised, highly sophisticated dopers, even within 'new age' cycling teams. Personally, I don't accept that the 'dark era' has ended, it has just morphed into a new guise.
