I fear this will be a debacle for my team unless I study the rider list a bit more.       And the parcours for that matter.

    But I'm too lazy.  ;D

  • Despite the self-serving data benders and associated propaganda to the contrary, I am led to believe that there are pockets of organised, highly sophisticated dopers, even within 'new age' cycling teams. Personally, I don't accept that the 'dark era' has ended, it has just morphed into a new guise.

Some handy little bonus points from Cobo and Quintana for me.

Pity Juanjo is going to fall from grace tonight :(

Starting this game with a handicap: first stage and Gasparotto falls and abandons. He was the last rider I added, spent some time trying to decide between a few riders, but ended up going with him. Bad decision.

Degenkolbs win put me into 5th but like the subjective quantum physicist, my Vuelta relies on JJ just sandbagging with his tooth-problem talk.

Wondered if I should take Degenkolb over Breschel.. seems I shouldve, although Matti might hold on on some steep finishes and score some points.

2 stages in and I'm displaying my traditional fantasy-game mid-table mediocrity.

Anything else would leave me giddy with excitement, so it's probably for the best.

Mid table with this group is not the same as mid table in other leagues. This ain't the wnba.

I think they have realised that they are messing things up. They have a prologue-stage 20 system, but allocated the points for "prologue"+stage 1 to "stage 1 and 2", leaving the prologue entry blank.

Lol - are you saying I've made the big time.  :win This must be what it feels like to be in one of those plucky-underdog-comes-good sports-type movies. Or what Frank Schleck feels like when he wins...  :P

I think they have realised that they are messing things up.

That makes a lot of sense... I guess I'll have to make do with the real Vuelta for entertainment this afternoon!

other then Ben swift on my team pretty lame sprinting in general with the rules the way they are from both velogames and the veulta it will be hard to get sprint points.  Bad news for me if ZERO points from my climbers hope the changes.
