Let's all laugh at Tottenham :D

Marching on and what not. Good to see Ross McCormack scoring. Top finisher, should really be playing more often. No praise for Michael Brown, even if he deserves some. :censored

Oldham 1 Liverpool 0 after 4 minutes :D

And Anelka's joining Juve.

What a weekend, this is why the Fa Cup is still the greatest cup competition in the world.

Premier League Spurs lose to Championship  Leeds
Premier League Chelsea held by Brentford from the old 3rd Division
Premier League QPR lose to MK Dons from the old 3rd Division
Premier League Aston Villa lose to Championship Millwall
Premier League Norwich lose to Non-League Luton Town

    :D

And now Liverpool 1 down to Oldham :S

    Oh well there goes Liverpool.

Stat: This is the first time Liverpool have conceded 3+ FA Cup goals to a team outside the top two divisions since 1956 (3-3 v S:censoredhorpe).

S:censoredhorpe are legends. Them and Nwanko Kanu. Been swear filtered since the open f365 days. Legends. Paul Dickov would be swear blocked at CN too.

    3-2 now.

Disappointed with Becchio. Leaving Leeds for a Premiership club is understandable (though not received offers from the PL, just four from overseas), saying the management doesn't do enough to keep you in the team is just sh*te. Guess he'll be joining Norwich too. That said, Sam Byram's extension is good.

What a great FA Cup weekend. Too bad the two Manchesters aren't out as well, I'd have loved to get rid of all top teams in this early stage. Hopefully the FA Cup will follow the League Cup and have two lesser teams in the final.

Seems Arsenal pulled the cup shock of the weekend. Also good to see ManUre getting another soft penalty.
THough I have only seen highlights, for me that was a definite penalty for United. Plus, some 10 minutes after that they were denied an even clearer penalty. And towards the end that goal was disallowed on questionable grounds. United fans have more reason to complain about the ref than their opponents.

Great responsable purchase by Abrahmovic... :') 45 million, iirc, basically wasted. Liverpool must still get cramps of laughter for the cash earned by the transfer. (although thinking of getting Andy Carroll for that high amount turns the mood into graveyard mood instantly :D)

  • Despite the self-serving data benders and associated propaganda to the contrary, I am led to believe that there are pockets of organised, highly sophisticated dopers, even within 'new age' cycling teams. Personally, I don't accept that the 'dark era' has ended, it has just morphed into a new guise.

I read that article last night and is it me or does it not specify his punishment? If it is still to be delivered then I would place my bets on it being pretty lame.

And QPR going to buy Samba it seems, that would be a mighty boost, it would be outrageous for Newcastle to go down after all the talented French players they have bought.. Gouffran was the thing a coupleof years back and their other signings are also very talented, with Cabaye to anchor their midfield they probably have one of the best squads outside the top few clubs and certainly not relegation fodder. It just means clubs like Villa are more likely to face the drop, I really don't understand their point.. their rivals are buying.. they need to then buy to keep up.

With Utrecht winning, that cost us 5th place.. The title is further away than ever.

But at least Vitesse is still by a huge margin the best club of Gelderland, that's something at least ;)

Could those more up to date with football tell me why Ricardo Kaka and Robinho arent in the brazil team? I get they may not be that good anymore but they seem better than the players that are in the brazil team.

Also i read somewhere that Sneijder moved to turkey for like 5 million squid. Wasnt it just last year that he was 1 of the top players in the world and the top teams were bidding huge sums for him. WTF happened there?

Don't know about Kaka, but he hasn't been playing a lot for Madrid, so that might have something to do with it.

Sneijder had a big contract with Inter Milan which had a year left, but they didn't want to renew it unless he accepted a smaller paycheck. Which he refused, so they didn't play him for much of this season. During the winter, he was sold. Wanted to go to England, but apparently Galatasaray was the only team that wanted to pay his salary.

But they won't listen and it will be funner to see all their hopes dashed when England manage to syphon a draw of Montonegro next year or whenever it is,

A forward line consisting of Danny Welbeck has no chance of ever achieving greatness :fp
