You bet it is. This season is a bizarre reversal of what we have come to expect. Tonight's away win equals the record 11 wins in a season that the club has only achieved twice in the last 50 years, so one more will  set a new record. A feature of these away wins has been our stupendous and vocal away support. Tonight's crowd at Posh was 13k+, of whom 5k were Hammers! 8)

The atmosphere at home games on the other hand, has been awful all season, in large part down to the way Fat Sam likes to play, and the fact that he keeps starting with one up front, a 4-5-1 that he insists is really  a 4-3-3. Any one of us who can tell the difference between Fat Sam and a stick of gum know that this is bull. We have not remotely scored the goals we should have done in all those home draws, considering how many 'strikers' we have on the books.

If this team goes up, it will require massive reinforcements to avoid an immediate drop down again. But for now, at least till Saturday, we're optimistic. ;)

Saints have the same issue, this is a team that was struggling in league 1 two seasons ago so really going to struggle at the top table. Frankly from where we were 3/4 years ago would just love to make it back for one season.

The Saints form has just been strange, we were untouchable at the start of the season and then just seemed to get distracted. couple of cup games, couple of games lost against the bottom teams and we lost our way. Think it was over confidence. they seem to have got back to winning ways now.

looking at remaining games still some hard ones to go. At 50 minutes in and 0-0 i thought that was it for West Ham but with 7 games to go i still think they will finish top. Think we will take second and Reading will take play-offs

They have always had a good youth academy. In the past we used to joke that was why Saints got saved on the last week of the season each year. they had such a good youth set up the big clubs did not want them to go out of business

A League finals this week , great to see Victory having a shocker year. Can't see anyone but Brisbane or the Mariners winning it . I don't have much hope for Sydney

Indeedlydoodle. Brisbane seem to have better momentum than CCM atm and they are their bogey team a bit. Could go either way, which at the start of the season we weren't expecting.

I think that Wellington should trounce Sydney. The Blues have been pathetically average all year, only really in the finals because you can be average and still progress.

Perth I hope will go through but it will be tough. Despite being wildly inconsistent Heart have been a good side, they can battle with CCM and Brisbane on their day so they wont be an easy task. Perth have a lot of injures with players coming back, so they wont necessarily be at 100% either. Should be an exciting final though, wish I could go.

If only West Ham, hadn't drawn so many games at home, they'd be a few points ahead of the others. Is the home form a concern for you AH?

Only West Ham are capable of going what, 10 games unbeaten  and still manage to go down in the league..

Aye, though it would be better if Robben were in full flight. He has completely overshadowed scarface since van Gaal's era and later too.

Goooal, Mario Gomez and a half decent Robben pass.

Anyone watching this? Puyol trying to run across the box with a Milan player trying to remove his shirt while the Ref just watches? Another penalty!

Gonna be some bunga bung party methinks!

Barca must have left the HGH at home!

    Or Milan stole it!

Not a great game. But i cant stand the idea of Berlusconi's team winning anything. They are on course to win Serie A so a champions league would be a killer.

The game was pretty dull.. Milan was playing well, but made football impossible, I suppose kudos to them. Bayern has easily made their way to the half finals, surely they wont throw a two goals advantage away? Lets see what happens in Barcelona next week.

I dont want to see either Milan or Madrid win the CL. Milan because of Berlusconi and Madrid because of Mourinho. He's the Johan Bruyneel of Football but worse.

Aye, Schweinsteiger's fitness will be a bit of a concern right through to the end of the season though. Still think that a full flow Bayern, even without Schweini, could beat Madrid.

Will be hard as Madrid are flying with few injuries but not impossible.

AZ beat Valencia and Metalist still in their match. What the fark is going on?
