If any in form team could beat Madrid, it would be Bayern. They're brilliant when on form, bollocs when not.

As long as it isn't Barca or Chavski I don't mind who wins it this year.

I can only half agree with you, oh karmaless one. I'd love to see Benfica do Chav$ki tonight, but don't think that will happen. I think that even a sub-par Barca will be too good for the ageing chavs, while Bayern-Real should go to Real, but you never know - Harry Hun has been known to pack a suprise punch. ;)

However, I fully anticipate a Barca-Real final, with Messi & Co yet again proving to be too good for Mourinho's cloggers. :P

Can't see Chelsea beat Barcelona, although they might crave revenge from 2009 Half (if I remember correctly) Finals.

The Guardians full time from their MBM

    Now that is hysterical. ;D

Such a pity Benfica didn't score maybe 10 minutes earlier. Then, feeling the support of the entire football world, except Chavski fans, they might have sprouted wings and done the fornicators.

Still, let us console ourselves with the thought of what Barca will do to this team of tired has-beens. ;)

Will be very funny if Mourinho leaves after winning La Liga and a CL. He is all about himself. Dont know why fans like him? i cant stand the guy. Pure mercenary. I know that lots in football are all about themselves, most of the badge kissing players, which annoys me, would sell their grannies for a bigger contract to a bigger club but it is the manner in which Mourinho does it. I would hate for him to manage my club.

Have you noticed that all team Jose manages then suffer for a few years after he leaves, cos whilst he;s there he spends cash and neglects the youth system of that team.

Yeah he moves in and takes control over everything and if he does not get that control he turns on the owners, ceo's etc. like at Madrid. he wanted complete control. so when he leaves he leaves it in a mess, which i think is also part of his scheme, so that the fans remember him better as the next 5 managers try to pick up the pieces. The guy is a power hungry maniac. i wouldn't let him near my team as the short term gain would not be worth it. He is so detrimental to the game and his short term success has clubs thinking stupidly and sacking managers left wright and centre because they haven't done what Mourinho has done.

    Agreed on Mourinho..

Tomorrow Europa League, I hope AZ can hold on versus Valencia. (2-1 win at home.) One away goal can help alot and possibly crush Valencias morale, which isnt all too high cause they have been losing & drawing the last few games and the trainer has received a lot of critic for it.

I think that all neutrals agree about Mou, the Narcissist. ;)

I hope that AZ have a real hard game.....and just squeak through. That way they'll be even more tired for the rest of the domestic competition. :P

The A League next year appears to be adding a second Sydney team based in Western Sydney to replace the soon to be defunct Gold Coast United.

I seriously have no idea why Footy codes keep wanting to expand into the Gold coast area as no team based there is successful and all have had financial difficulties or collapsed.

I will definitely be supporting the new Sydney team and hope they can be successful within a few years.

Barry Hearn is a moaning old pr*ck who got the original bid cancelled with some fancy legal mumbojumbo. The fact is Zam, the majority of fans don't want to go to a new Olympic stadium which will either have to to be re-built for football after the games, or have a running track between stand and field, something that everyone finds unacceptable.

If, and it's a big if, any London team eventually does get the stadium, West Ham is by far the most logical choice. I won't be crying if the deal doesn't go through, though. I certainly don't see this as any kind  of 'must do'.

The domination of Spanish teams is getting quite obivous now: 3 Spanish teams in the best four of the UEFA Cup and 2 in the best four at the Champion's League.

I too hope Bayern win their semifinal, they're a great team when in form. Barca - Bayern sounds like an awesome final.
