Who're the Dutchies leaving Ajax and Feyenoord then? Vertonghen, however that's spelt, I believe was rumoured to be leaving. Any Winston Bogardes coming from your land again?

Havey will have to tell you about Feyenoord. We expect Vertonghen and van der Wiel to be the 'names' that leave this summer, though v.d. Wiel has said that he'll only go to a 'top club'. ::) We also fervently hope that Suleijmani farks off to anywhere, we just want to be rid of the one-legged little :winker.

Wasn't someone sold for buying Suleijmani? van der Wiel should join Dempo, top club indeed.

Also well played West Ham, far better than Cardiff. Venky's getting relegated to expand their market into Yorkshire, who'll be well represented in the Championship next year, and elsewhere. The Premier league just didn't cover enough parts of England.

Apparently Venky's bought the club thinking that their was no relegation and they were buying a protected brand! When they discovered after purchasing Blackburn the club could be relegated they put the brakes on investing!!!

I don't think that's entirely accurate (think it came in the Guardian). In the figures released by the company, profits went down by 81% at the turn of the year (after some good years monetarily). So, it really wasn't a surprise that they couldn't invest in the club and it will be a surprise if they spend on good championship players too.

Amster that was absolute top quality yesterday, brilliant.  the Run was rocking right through the game but oh my head hurts today. Will have to watch the final on telly though, flying to Spain on the 18th,shocking planing by the Doris.
Also 19 May is the anniversary of us winnig the Cup Winners in 1965 (good omen there)

She wore, she wore, she wore a claret ribbon
She wore a claret ribbon in the merry month of May,
And when I asked her why she wore that ribbon,

She said its for the West Ham boys who are going to Wembley,
    Wembley, Wembley,
She said its for the West Ham boys who are going to Wembley...

To be fair to Venky's, they had a poo squad before their arrival anyway.

Liverpool didn't play well, Chelsea were playing like non league  :fp

Bayern should get at least 5 in the CL final.  ;D

Boring game.. Atletico didnt try after the 1-0, just counters. Bilbao didnt do anything good, only a proper chance after 80 minutes.. :(

What a disappointment for most neutral fans, who were massively for Athletic. Sadly, they never reached their form of earlier in the season and were rightly beaten.

Personally, I don't accept that the 'dark era' has ended, it has just morphed into a new guise.

I had to take my daughter to a birthday party today, so had to leave the Man City game in the 80th minute.  I was a little disappointed because I wanted City to win and figured with QPR packing the box, that it was pretty much over.  I was wrong...damn birthday party.  I can't believe I missed that ending.

well a right old up and down for liverpool this year.

    Negatives:
crappy league position, and losing Lucas pretty much ruined our season.
At times we were complete and utter sh*t

    Positives:
a few of the newbies looked better as the season went on
At times we were completely brilliant
We won a trophy, man utd didnt.

So on the whole, the positives outweigh the negatives.
