Arthur Vichot has been altitude training in Tignes and may have improved his downhill skills. If that other guy in the FDJ "2017 edition" shirt was his instructor. He is not a very good cyclist.

(Julien Lizeroux is a French alpine skier with a couple of world cup victories in the slalom. )

If Pinot was on my CQ team, this interview with l'Equipe wouldn't fill me with confidence.

    Quote
“I've now come to a point where I don't just want to talk about results. I just want to be 100% fit and find the joy and confidence back. I don't want to be the absolute leader anymore. ”

“If I am the leader in a certain race, my teammates will also have to race. They no longer have to sacrifice themselves completely. I don't want to disappoint the team again ”

The Groupama-FDJ rider normally starts his season in the Tour des Alpes Maritimes et du Var (19-21 February), but Pinot tells L'Équipe that he has still not gotten rid of his back problems. In other words, it is unclear whether Pinot will be able to pin a jersey number again at the end of February.
