    http://www.radsport-news.com/sport/sportnews_95942.htm

another more experienced guy for #roth after Kohler, Belda and Krizek, who will probably be the guide (and do the lead-out) for Pasqualon. I really like their transfers so far - and must say, that I can't really see how Ballan would fit into that team.

Wouldn't have been surprised if Active Jet had been in for him, but he had a decent calendar this year with Cycling Academy and if that's repeated or slightly improved upon next year, then it's no bad thing to stick around for another twelve months.

This, coupled with the Betancur signing and Valverde's suggestion of a tilt at the Giro, mean that Movistar might actually be trying to win all 3 GTs next season.

Talking about signing him gives you headlines and media attention - you don't actually have to sign him for that. ;)

I guess this is transfer news in a way.

    http://www.tuttobiciweb.it/index.php?page=news&cod=84352&tp=n

    Quote
For the first time in pro cycling, a team is going to hold a revolutionary testing training camp, for dozens of candidates, in order to choose its full roster of riders for its upcoming season.

Team candidates will go through some cutting-edge testing, including indoor and outdoor tests, bio-mechanics analyzing and medical checkups.

"We received more than 600 Applications and only invited the ones who we really think could fit into the team and cope with our high-level racing calendar"

“I have experienced it myself, when it comes to selecting upcoming talent, the pro-cycling world is traditionally based on ‘who knows who’, random recommendations, intense lobbying and lots of guessing. We want to change that.
Our desire is to give our riders an equal chance to prove their worth to the team in neutral conditions”

The colorful camp is expected to have a multinational attendance, with riders coming from a large variety of countries including: The USA, Japan, Eritrea, Italy, Slovakia, Slovenia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Greece, Namibia, Estonia and Israel.

Sounds like a reality TV series waiting to be made. Hope Grabovskyy made the initial selection.

The irony though is that he was probably only allowed to be aggressive because he was leaving the team and they were giving him a chance to show himself off to possible suitors. Now he's signed a new deal, is it back to dom duties in 2016 with no breaks allowed?
