Was at home without the family, working got on the train on the way home when nearly home the sky had this weird light to it, and black clouds forming up and the birds were going crazy, all the kind of pre storm stuff you all know.

So ate something, bottles filled etc , got on the bike and as I started down the steep hill which starts and ends all my rides from home the rain started and it started to bucket down, water started flowing down the roads after 5 min my skin was wet through my clothes etc , and my bike was a clean as it has been for the last many years. Another few minutes and I had to take off my glasses due to them steaming up.

I can not remember seeing another person, car, bike walker for nearly 3 hours I might have seen an old guy with a long beard building a massive boat.  ;)

Came home and stood in the carport with water just falling off me, shoe covers, shoes and socks off and then got undressed in the shower

Not the greatest ride as in speed, distance but the rain was crazy, in fact Stockholm had flooding that arvo and I had the roads to myself for the whole ride

  • Of course, if this turns out someday to be the industry standard integrated handlebar-computer-braking solution then I'll eat my kevlar-reinforced aerodynamic hat.
