Jensen is re-thinking his ONE move (with new lower wages). He has the option of going back to Coop, but it sounds like his decision will be based on racing opportunities rather then dough.

Somebody get this boy an agent. And not just because he needs the right deal. He is being far too open and honest about how team negotiations work. :D

well, that's good (kinda, at least) for Fumeaux - but still a bit sad for all the Roth riders who missed out because this was supposed to be a "development" team, that now signs the 28 year old Swiss champion

#bretagne Yauheni Hutarovich had an offer from #minsk Minsk Cycling Team, but he rejected it as he doesn't want to ride on lower level - he may join the team (or another one) in a coaching role though. There's no final decision yet about his retirement from professional cycling as a rider yet, but it's likely to happen

Strava King Stefano "Cecco" Cecchini - yes, the son of Luigi, the famous doping doctor - wants to turn pro at the age of 38

“Teams Nippo-Vini Fantini and Androni were interested, but they are afraid it will cost them their [wildcard] invitations to race the Giro d’Italia. Now, I’m dealing with one top Professional Continental team and one foreign WorldTour team.”

    http://www.cyclingweekly.co.uk/news/latest-news/italys-strava-king-stefano-cecchini-pro-at-38-303172

If this is true remains to be seen though. #fantini Francesco Pelosi for example has a different view of things:

    Quote
    (gt)

Alas I hate controversy (and denials), even more in a day so full of arguments ... But the one declared on La Gazzetta dello Sport by Stefano Cecchini at #ghisalberti signing has created some embarrassment that it is good to clarify, and add some small personal note.

Give the full words that we included in our note to the press, history of truth: "(Francesco Pelosi) I was contacted by an agent and invited me to a dinner with Stefano Cecchini. To my philosophy always I try, consistent with the time available, to meet and listen to everyone. at the dinner Stefano explained to me his idea: to become a professional cyclist. in the same dinner I explained to Stephen as it would have been impossible with us. our team has a clear identity, with a structured project on growth of the most talented Italian and Japanese led by riders of experience and class, with an annual growth plan to the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. our team has therefore already chosen to grow and with whom, and has no room to distract from this important mission . In this project, it would therefore never have to return a "gamble" like that. no runs or other adverse reasons, because it does not necessary have been cited: there were their arguments to deepen or to evaluate its possible inclusion. So sorry to see that Stefano Cecchini has synthesized in interviews our refusal, from which we distance as untrue and incorrect synthesis, which forces us to this notice of denial after having caused unnecessary embarrassment ""

That said, I personally added that:
    - A (due? Surely welcome ...) phone call from the journalist checks would spare amazement and unnecessary questions, along with the subsequent clarification notes.
    - So many excellent professionals were unfortunately without a contract: I think that an article like that is least offensive to their professionalism.

Cycling good to all and sorry for the long post!

I've heard that he was in talks with some team from the Middle East. So this fits very well.
If they get both Schumi and Rebellin, they can blow up all the Asia Tour races.

    Oh joy. :lol

No confirmation of Rebellin (yet); but I guess it's simply a matter of time.
