Kits 2021
« on: December 04, 2020, 14:28 »
The team formerly known as Sunweb, now Team DSM

And a self made kit (Branded DSM, not hand stitched by the cyclists themselves) "DSM and Team DSM will also undertake several joint activities, including ... develop and produce its very own race apparel, in cooperation with technology partner Bioracer, to set new standards in protective race wear with bespoke apparel that utilizes peak performance materials".

Shame. That could've been quite the selling point.

And with all this downtime due to the pandemic, why not?  :P

    Oh NO!

#ag2r One of the most distinctive jerseys / colourways in cycling has been replaced with a white brand billboard; what a disastrous lack of style and élan from a French team!

Why Citroen did not agree to at least a sky blue typeface is a mystery - what a disappointment

    Awful 1/10

Pretty poor effort. If they had continued with the line effect all over the jersey it might have been a bit better, but in essence it's just a white jersey with sponsors on it.

CJR:  Usually one of my favourite kits, but I think they would have been better with just the one (more muted) shade of green.

I hadn't seen this until today: It looks like the best kit this year is to be found at CT level.

    Now that is a kit

not that it really looks like the 1991 jersey, but it's supposed to be some kind of reminiscence for the 30th anniversary. Christian Fanini (whose father was running the team back then, now he is DS himself) designed that jersey as a 14 year old, and found his drawings in the archive a couple of weeks ago.

I was just investigating the start list for Paris-Troyes at the weekend as it's ICA's first race of the season and the kit of one of the local competing team's caught my eye.
