Another question: why isn´t there a sprint-crash exception for GT times on hilltop finishes? It doesn´t have to be 3 km as in a flat sprint, but the last 100 or 150m m should be fair, I don´t think Pavel Bernas will contest anyway.
Because you normally don't crash when riding uphill.
The last instance I can remember was Menchov on Prato Nevoso (?).
